Civil Engineers Association

The Civil Engineering Students Association (CESA) is a platform to enhance and exhibit students skills through a variety of activities and technical events planned throughout the year. CESA was established in 2011. The primary aim is to improve the practical knowledge and application level of the civil engineering students apart from the curriculum and to build a pool of trained and dedicated professionals who can contribute to development of policies, measures and planning programs for sustainable development. CESA helps in divulging the flairs of civil engineering students and lead them to the career challenges.

Inauguration Ceremony

On 28-09-2017, CESA the Civil Engineering Students Association has been officially Inaugurated by DR. T. P. Ramachandran (Principal, UEC) in the presence of DR. M. K. Veerankutty ( P.G. Coordinator, Civil Engineering Department, UEC) and Mrs. Bindumol V. G ( HOD Civil Engineering Department, UEC).

Faseela Memorial – The Best Student Award 2017

“FASEELA MEMORIAL – THE BEST STUDENT AWARD 2017” has been awarded to Amritha C. U. (2017 Pass out Student) by DR. T. P. Ramachandran (Principal, UEC) in the presence of DR. M. K. Veerankutty ( P.G. Coordinator, Civil Engineering Department, UEC) and Mrs. Bindumol V. G ( HOD Civil Engineering Department, UEC).

Technical Video Show

On 13-10-2017, CESA the Civil Engineering Students Association has arranged a Technical Video Show on Geo Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) an Innovative Construction Technology invented by IIT Madras.

Lingua Bellum

On 27-10-2017, CESA the Civil Engineering Students Association has arranged an Innovative Communication Development Program for civil engineering students. This program also helped the students to get rid of their stage fear.

Technical Expo

On 19-02-2018, CESA the Civil Engineering Students Association has arranged a Technical Expo in association with IEDC of Universal Engineering College. Mr. Mohammed Ramees (MVP of Microsoft) inaugurated the Expo and gave valuable lectures to students.

Ibpms Training

IBPMS training was organised by CESA, Department of Civil Engineering in association with LENSFED has conducted a two days hands on training programme on 11/11/2021 and 12/11/2021. The IBPMS training was officially inaugurated by Dr. Jose K. Jacob (Principal UEC) in the presence of Mrs. Bindumol V. G (HOD Civil Engineering Department), Mr. Sajan Jose (AP, Dept of CE, UEC) and LENSFED members.

CESA conducted an event to appreciate ktu rank holders and the faculties who are the reason behind best results. It was held on 22nd November at 3 pm. From S5 four of them Shahana, sabhana, Asha, Jyothika were awarded with a trophy for achieving 10 sgpa in S1 then from S3 the price shared between 2 students Afna P Raphy, Niranjana and from S5 Anfeena Anvar they are awarded with a price for their magnificent results in university exam also the faculties who are the reason to acquire best results in their subjects were awarded too.
