Uec Music Club - Team Decibels
It is with utmost pride and pleasure, we announce that our small initiative of spreading the magic of music through our Music club has been a great success. We intend to resonate a magical mood that music creates amid any environment and we believe this club and its programs will be a great stress buster for the singers and listeners of our college. We hope this initiative gets carried and celebrated through the generations to come. We also promise to come up with events that would reflect the healing power of Music on our society.
Inaugural Ceremony
Music is the universal language of mankind. For the first time in the history of Universal Engineering College, the music lovers of the college have joined together to form a music club by the name of Team Decibels. The inauguration of the club was held successfully on 17th December 2021 in the seminar hall of block B at 3pm.
The inaugural functions were followed by exciting performances from the students as well as staff members of the club. The inauguration is considered as a Kickstart to explore the talents of the college as well as to undertake activities that would be beneficial to the society as we know music is the only medicine for mind and soul.
Sing Melody With Love
Music club of universal engineering college organized an online singing competition in connection with Valentines day from Feb 10th – Feb 14th by the name of “Sing Melody with Love”. First prize was awarded to Varsha Valsan of S5 Computer science department. The winner was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 501/- on February 18th by respected Chairman Mr. V. K. Shamsudheen sir and Honourable Principal Dr. Jose K. Jacob sir.
