Thrissur, June 6, 2026: Universal Engineering College (UEC), one of Kerala’s leading engineering institutions, celebrated its Course Completion Ceremony 2026 with great pride and enthusiasm on June 6, 2026. The event marked a significant milestone in the lives of the graduating students as they completed their academic journey and prepared to embark on successful professional careers.
The ceremony was especially significant as Universal Engineering College continues to strengthen its reputation for academic excellence with NBA Accreditation for all eligible programmes, NAAC Accreditation, and affiliation to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). The institution also recorded an impressive 85% placement rate during the academic year, reflecting its strong industry connections and commitment to student success.
The event was attended by the college management, principal, faculty members, graduating students, parents, and distinguished guests. The programme commenced with an academic procession and prayer, setting a dignified tone for the occasion.
Dr. Jobin M. V., Dean of the college, welcomed the gathering and congratulated the graduating students for their dedication and perseverance. The Academic Report and Presidential Address were delivered by Dr. Jose K. Jacob, Principal of Universal Engineering College. During his address, he highlighted the institution’s achievements in academics, placements, research, innovation, and accreditation milestones.
The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Jagathyraj V. P., Vice Chancellor of Sree Narayana Guru Open University, Kollam, formally inaugurated the ceremony.
