As a part of IEDC UEC vision to help the students to convert their ideas into a prototype stage and move further the unit conducted two days boot camp on 30th and 31st March 2023.. Mr. Antonio Joseph, IEDC Nodal officer give the introduction. The professional entrepreneurs Mr. Vishnu Nagaraj, Founder and CEO of Carve Startup Labs and Mrs. Alisha Davis, Co founder and COO of Carve Startup Lab, handled the session. Their main focus was on how to set up a start up and how to continue with this in the business world.They discussed how to finalize a theme for start up? How to plan business strategies ? Which marketing strategies should follow ? The role of customer feedback? . Fifteen teams participated in the program (total 76 students). Each group went through all the phases they discussed. Among them 4 ideas were found to be good, which can be converted into a startup or a business and few others need some more technical support to refine it further. Each student actively participated in the programme and it was a great insight to all of them.IEDC executive committee students were fantastic and played an important role in the success of this program After evaluating the viability and potential of the ideas that can be converted into a business/startup , 3 teams were identified and they were gives 1000 Rs each as a token of appreciation
